Made in Germany: Our belts are made exclusively in our own factory.

Leather: Our shell cordovan leather comes from the traditional Horween tannery in Chicago. The leather has been produced in elaborate craftsmanship since 1905.  In contrast to all other types of leather, the underside of the skin is refined. We like to call it the connoisseur's leather.

Handcrafted: We take our time and produce a genuine Kaufmann Classic Shell Cordovan belt in about 66 work processes.

Details: The back of the belt is covered with one piece of continuous cowhide leather. Continuous bar tack stitches between the fixed keeper and the buckle ensure the keeper and buckle hold and fit securely.

Stitching: The belts are made with colour coordinated stitching. We will be happy to produce the stitching in a different colour as a custom product for you.

Belt edge: The edge of the Classic Shell Cordovan model's belt is stained, ground and sealed several times by hand. You receive absolute premium quality. If you would like the edges in a colour of your choice, we will create a custom strap in your colour.
