Mountain Bear Maritime: Our sporty model for your maritime watch. Made of a leather with a wonderful touch and feel and slightly roughened surface. Oval perforation suitable for pin buckle with wide pin.

Made in Germany: Our Mountain Bear Maritime model watch straps are made are made exclusively at our own leather works.

Leather: Our Mountain Bear type leathers are tanned, dyed and finished under high quality standards at a leather works in Italy.

Strap thickness: Lug width 4.2mm, buckle width 4.0mm

Handcrafted: We take our time and produce a genuine Kaufmann watch strap in about 85 work processes.

Kind to skin: The backs of our watch straps are finished in calfskin leather that is extremely gentle on the skin, making them very comfortable to wear. If you should require an alternative, we will be happy to make a custom product for you.

Stitching: Our Mountain Bear Maritime model is stitched with the highest quality yarn to match the strap colour. We supply dark grey stitching for the black-grey leather. The dark brown is sewn with rosé gold stitching. The natural and nougat colours have light beige contrast stitching. The upper and lower threads are knotted and glued three times by hand at the strap ends. The adjustable outer keeper is stitched. Bar tack stitches between the fixed keeper and the buckle ensure the keeper and buckle hold and fit securely. We will be happy to produce the stitchingin a different colour as a custom product for you.

Strap edge: The edge of the Mountain Bear Maritime ref. 163 model's strap is stained, ground and sealed several times by hand. You receive absolute premium quality. If you would like the edges in a colour of your choice, we will create a custom strap in your colour.

We have handcrafted your Kaufmann watch strap in our manufactory with the utmost care. We hope you enjoy it and recommend that you observe the following care instructions:
The leather of the Mountain Bear Maritime model is hydrophobic and protected against light moisture. If it gets wet or damp, let it dry. Only use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
Please do not use shoe polish or similar.
For sports activities we recommend our sports models (e.g. NAUTIC)
