HANDCRAFTED WORKMANSHIP
MASTERFULLY PRODUCED, HANDCRAFTED PIECES

Only the finest leather meets our demands. In order for us to refer to our products as the “finest design”, not only the skins, but also the handcrafted workmanship must live up to finer, more consistent standards. This also makes it a delight for connoisseurs to discover the many lovely details in our collection.

PATTERN PRODUCTION

Individual patterns for each of the leather pieces in our products are made in our pattern production department.

THE PUNCHING SHOP

The blank cuts for our products are individually punched by hand with the help of a swivel arm punch or beam cutting press.

THE GRINDING SHOP

In order to ensure the optimum further processing of our leather, we grind each piece of leather in house. While the complete piece of leather is flattened when it is split into layers just tenths of millimetre thick, only the outer edges of the leather are flattened on the grinding machine so that the leather can be hammered or folded down. The basic piece of leather also lays the foundation for precise, beautiful stitching in the final product. After all, beautiful stitching can only be achieved when several overlapping, processed pieces of leather have been precisely ground.U

THE SEWING SHOP

The stitches in each product are executed with precise accuracy and a special, intuitive skill..

THE STITCHING STUDIO

Our products are hand stitched in our stitching studio. We differentiate between the studio stitch (which is sewn with one needle and one thread) and classic hand stitching (which uses two needles and one thread). Depending on the product and the strength of the thread, a skilled, experienced stitcher will need between 40 minutes and 3 hours to complete the complex hand stitching.

THE DYE SHOP

We dye and grind the edges of our products at least three times by hand in our manufactory.

QUALITY CONTROL

Each watchstrap is individually inspected to ensure that it meets certain quality criteria.

PAIRING OFF THE STRAPS

After the final quality control, we pair off the straps by making sure that the grain patterns of both straps are perfectly matched.
